Photos shouldn’t be lost on the cloud or stored on a hard drive. They should be shared, treasured, displayed, and remembered. My goal is to rekindle that feeling of home that is felt with an album in your lap or a box of prints. I want to make sure your memories are preserved forever, printed in your home, and not just on your computer.
I offer a wide variety of printed products to fit any budget. After your session, you are free to invest however you choose with a full range of products (from stunning acrylic cover Story Box of prints to a precious newborn signature album to a wall gallery of custom framed portraits from your session.)

I’m Rita, the woman behind the lens at Loomis Lane Photography. As a former Special Education Pre-K teacher, my heart lies with young children. I focus on capturing the unique spirit of my youngest clients.

I believe that when children take the lead, the best moments are created. Using my early childhood background, I put little ones at ease so they are free to reveal their personalities. I’ll focus on your kids so you can relax and enjoy a special day of lasting memories.

The experience begins before we ever set out for your shoot. Nobody knows your family like you—which is why I create the shoot based on your vision.
My process goes beyond meeting and snapping pictures. We’ll begin with a consultation at my photography studio in Lake Dallas. I’ll learn about your vision for your portraits, your family’s unique story (the challenges, the beauty, and everything in between), and how you want your memories preserved.
From there, I’ll plan your session to cultivate a priceless experience for your family. We’ll pick a location that suits you, talk about hair and makeup services, and plan what I can do to make the day seamless for you and your family.
Finally, we’ll have a Reveal, where you can revisit the experience of the day and select the artwork and products that your family can treasure and share for a lifetime and beyond.
